Newly opened Castle Field Motorhome Park in Kealkil (9km outside Bantry just past Kealkil on the Gougane Barra road). Post code just across road from P75 PF61 Great welcome by the owners Cathy and William. We had a visit from a local man Dicky who entertained us on his antique accordions,Level parking area looking across the Ouvane river to the ruins of Carriganass Castle and scenic hills beyond. €10 per night Facilities: fresh water, grey water and black water disposal and a toilet all at the back of a cabin. Fresh eggs ( honestly box) and tourist information in the cabin. Various walking trails from here.Short walk to shop and pub.
